Permanent TSB Sanctuary Run 2023

1 October 2023; A participant originally from Afghanistan during the Permanent TSB Sanctuary Run 2023 at the Cross Country track of the Sport Ireland Campus in Dublin. The Permanent TSB Sanctuary Run on the Sport Ireland campus attracted nearly 1,000 participants including refugees from Direct Provision centres across Ireland, Ukrainian people in Dublin, locals and Irish Olympians. The event, to celebrate diversity and interculturalism in Ireland today, was run by the Sanctuary Runners’ organisation and supported by the Olympic Federation of Ireland and Athletics Ireland.
