The Leinster Rugby Awards Ball, taking place at the InterContinental Dublin and MC’d by Darragh Maloney, were a celebration of the 2018/19 Leinster Rugby season to date and over the course of the evening Leinster Rugby acknowledged the contributions of departees Seán O’Brien, Jack McGrath, Noel Reid, Mick Kearney, Nick McCarthy, Tom Daly and Ian Nagle. Former Leinster, Ireland and British & Irish Lions player Paul Dean was inducted into the Guinness Hall of Fame. Some of the other Award winners on the night included; St. Michael’s College (Deep River Rock School of the Year), Larry Halpin, Terenure College (Beauchamps Contribution to Leinster Rugby Award), Naas RFC (CityJet Senior Club of the Year), Patrician Secondary School Newbridge (Irish Independent Development School of the Year Award), Suttonians RFC (Bank of Ireland Junior Club of the Year) and Sene Naoupu (Energia Women’s Rugby Award).
